Pottery Money Box Workshop

Join ceramic artists Naomi and Meredith in their studio at Windmill Hill City Farm for an immersive hands-on experience where you'll craft your very own personalized money box from clay.

In this unique workshop, you will learn essential pottery techniques while creating a functional and stylish money box. Under expert guidance and hands on tuition, you'll sculpt, decorate, and personalise your money box to reflect your unique style and savings goals. 

After a brief demonstration from your hosts, you'll be let loose to build your money box, using hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, slip and scoring. After you've constructed the form, you are encouraged to use the remaining time to decorate your work using coloured slips, carving designs and adding funky textures. Use this time to really unleash your creativity and personalise your work.
