About the event
Immerse yourself in the art of throwing in this 2.5 hour workshop. During this session you and a friend will pair up on a single wheel, taking it in turn to master the basics of throwing. Our highly knowledgable tutors will guide you step by step through everything you'll need to know, so complete beginners are absolutely welcome.
Although you will be alternating turns the wheel with your partner- your tuition will be tailored to you. So it doesn't matter if one is a little further ahead than the other...don't worry, it's not Ghost!
In between turns you'll have the chance to partake in some observational learning by watching you partner have a go. This will help to solidify your knowledge- plus you can be their personal photographer!
At the end of your workshop you can choose your favourite pot each to have fired and glazed. Any additional pots can…
