About the event
10am-12.30pm - Introductions. One group of 8 start on throwing on the wheel and the other group of 8 begin hand building.
12.30-1.30pm - Lunch (lunch is not provided so you are encouraged to bring a packed lunch or visit the on site cafe)
1.30pm-4pm - Groups swap.
Join us for an engaging one-day pottery workshop where you'll dive into both throwing on the wheel and hand building techniques. This hands-on experience is perfect for all skill levels, allowing you to create unique pieces while learning from an experienced instructor.
For the hand building portion of the day you will be guided step-by-step through the process of making your own unique and personal ‘pinch pot’ vase from scratch. You don't need any previous clay experience as everything will be explained fully on the day. Your finished item will be left with your hosts who will fire and glaze your work.…
