About the event

Immerse yourself in the world of pottery with our engaging 3-hour Wheel Throwing Workshop, perfect for you and a friend.

This hands-on session is designed for complete beginners, making it an ideal introduction to the art of wheel throwing.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Pair Up on a Single Wheel: You and your friend will share a wheel, taking turns to master the basics of throwing clay.
  • Expert Guidance: Naomi, our experienced instructor, will guide you step by step through the entire process, ensuring personalised instruction tailored to your individual progress.
  • Observational Learning: While waiting for your turn, you’ll benefit from watching your partner's attempts, reinforcing your own learning and providing a great opportunity to capture some memorable photos.
  • Personalised Tuition: Even though you'll be sharing the wheel, Naomi will ensure that each participant receives one on one guidance as you seperatley have your time on the wheel. So it doesn’t matter if one of you progresses faster than the other and you won't be on the wheel at the same time - dont worry, it's not Ghost!

What You’ll Create:At the end of the workshop, each participant can select their favourite pot to be fired and glazed. Additional pots can be fired for a fee of £5 per item. Your finished pieces will be ready for collection 2-4 weeks after the workshop.
