About the event
Glaze Application Workshop (3 Hours)
This hands-on, three-hour glaze application workshop is designed for anyone wanting to build confidence with glazing or refine their technique. We’ll revisit glazing fundamentals, explore how different glazes behave, and learn how to troubleshoot common glazing mistakes. There will be plenty of time to experiment with application styles, including layering, and to consider how glazes interact during firing.
Students must bring their own stoneware bisqueware to glaze. We recommend bringing 6–10 mug-sized pieces to get the most out of the session. If you need to make work in advance, we suggest booking onto our Open Access or Clay Club sessions ahead of time.
All glazes and firings are included in the workshop price. Additional items can be fired for an extra cost. Finished pieces will be ready for collection approximately two weeks after the workshop. Student are also welcome to bring in any glazes from home they wish…
